Academic Manuscript and Policy Brief Workshop: Increasing the Insights of State Administration Students at Undiknas
Denpasar, 6 January 2024 – Higher education is not just about gaining theoretical knowledge, but also honing practical skills that are relevant to the professional world. The Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), through the Public Administration Study Program, realizes the importance of academic manuscript writing skills and policy briefs for students in facing the demands of the world of work and their contribution to policy formulation.
This workshop, which took place in Building A of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, on January 6, 2024, was attended by Undiknas students, especially those registered in the Public Administration Science Study Program. This event aims to provide in-depth insight and practical experience regarding writing academic texts and policy briefs.
The speakers in this workshop were Nyoman Sunatha, S.H., M.A.P, and Dr. Ni Luh Yulyana Dewi, S.I.kom., M.A.P., who are experts in their respective fields. With extensive experience and knowledge, they share insights about the methodology for writing quality academic manuscripts and policy briefs that can have a positive impact.
Workshop participants had the opportunity to listen to material presentations, ask questions directly to the speakers, and participate in discussion sessions. It is hoped that this will provide an in-depth learning experience and enrich students’ understanding of practical aspects of the field of state administration.
Through this activity, Undiknas is committed to providing a holistic learning experience, combining theory with practical application. Skills in writing academic texts and policy briefs are becoming more important in preparing students to enter the professional world, especially in carrying out strategic roles in formulating policies at government and private sector levels.
