Faculty of Tourism

In the current era of globalization, characterized by the advancement of technology and digitalization, free competition across various sectors, including the economy and human resources, presents significant challenges to the development of tourism on a global scale. To address these challenges, it is essential to prepare and manage highly capable human resources equipped with both soft skills and hard skills to compete in the tourism sector at both national and international levels. In support of sustainable national development in the tourism sector, particularly considering that Bali is one of the world’s leading international tourist destinations, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional offers the Diploma IV Tourism Destination Study Program under the Faculty of Tourism (FPar). The program awards the Applied Bachelor of Tourism degree (S.Tr.Par), which is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (Strata 1/S1).The Tourism Destination Study Program aims to produce Applied Bachelor of Tourism graduates (S.Tr.Par) specializing in tourism planning, destination development, and tourism business, equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of adapting information technology, and grounded in research findings. This enables graduates to create professional, high-quality, and sustainable destinations or tourism businesses. The study program also aims to prepare graduates to pursue careers as tourism entrepreneurs, destination or tourism business managers, research assistants, and professionals in government institutions, applying the principles of sustainability through the utilization of technology and research.

The Event Management Study Program aims to produce competent professionals in event management, particularly in meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions. In general, the objectives of the Event Management Study Program include: mastering fundamental knowledge and industry practices, developing event management and operational skills, enhancing soft skills, understanding professional ethics and responsibilities, and mastering technology and innovation in the Event Management industry.

2. Event Management Study Program (Convention and Event Management)
