Denpasar – On 17 November 2023, National Education University (Undiknas) held “Healthy Friday,” an initiative aimed at improving health and togetherness among the academic community. This time’s activity agenda was badminton, which was held with great enthusiasm at the Undiknas Sport and Art Center building.
In an enthusiastic atmosphere, staff and lecturers gathered to participate in fun sports activities. Also present at the activity were the Vice Chancellor and Chancellor of the National Education University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM. who participated in the activities with enthusiasm.
Badminton was chosen as the main activity because it is not only healthy but also fosters a spirit of cooperation and togetherness. Participants are divided into small teams to start the badminton match. Even though not all participants are proficient in this sport, the spirit and togetherness are still strong.
The Undiknas Sport and Art Center building, which is presented as a modern facility for sports and arts activities, provides an ideal place to hold activities like this. Good badminton courts and other supporting facilities create an enjoyable experience for all participants.
Apart from the physical benefits of sport, this activity also serves as an opportunity to strengthen relationships between members of the academic community. Informal interactions outside the classroom or office environment create closer relationships between them, forming a strong foundation of togetherness.
Healthy Friday at Undiknas is not just about exercising; this is a real manifestation of the university’s commitment to prosperity and togetherness. A positive step to maintain enthusiasm and health during a busy academic routine.
