Inspiration and Superior Innovation: Highlights from the PKM Final and Start-UP Competition in the 55th BUDINATA Universitas Pendidikan Nasional
Denpasar – In the momentum of the 55th Anniversary of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), the series of Budinata events is increasingly attracting attention. This time, the Final Presentation round of the Student Creativity Program (PKM) and Start UP Business Competition will enter the deciding round on February 20, 2024.
Since the closing of proposal registration on February 15, until the announcement of the selected proposals on February 18, participants have been waiting for this decisive moment. The Final Presentation round was a place for students’ creativity and intelligence in presenting fresh ideas and solutions in front of the judges.
In the PKM Category, several interesting proposals succeeded in stealing attention and placing themselves as the best. The team with a proposal entitled “Glancing at the Adoption of Modern Culture in the Young Generation Which is Eroding the Meaning of Preserving Traditional Culture” by Team I Kadek Gustena, Ni Kadek Ayu Verlioni, and Putu Erlina Ayu Tiara Putri won 1st Place. They discussed the adoption of modern culture in the younger generation, by case study of the use of DJ music at the ogoh-ogoh parade in Bali.
Meanwhile, the proposal entitled KC Technological Innovation Against Mental Problems, the proposal “Prevent Yourself by Integrating AI” succeeded in achieving 2nd place. The team consisting of I Putu Ari Devananda Krisna, Dewa Made Danny Indrawan Widnyana, Dhegas Alkadico Susilo, Ni Putu Della Anggreni, and Carenina Luana Michaela Ratag present innovative solutions to overcome mental problems through the integration of artificial intelligence.
Meanwhile, the proposal “Improving Children’s English Communication in Tibubiu Banjar Tegaltemu Kaja Village Through Creative Learning” by a team consisting of Ni Made Santi Nareswari, Ni Putu Sinta Maheswari, Komang Dwisa Maesa Ayu, Esa Prasanthi Candrika, and Putu Viona Nita Putri received an award as 3rd place winner.
In the Start-Up Business category, fresh ideas that have the potential to develop into successful businesses compete. Thriftex, Finduself, and “The Easiest Way to Holiday With More Education (With Bali)” became a hot topic of conversation among students and the jury.
Thriftex, which was initiated by I Gede Aje Wirya Ananda Dourado and Surya Alam Pratama, was successful in gaining attention and took 1st place. Kadek Hery Pramanta with the idea of Finduself also received high appreciation from the judges and won 2nd place. Likewise, the team “The Easiest Way to Holiday With More Education (With Bali)” consisting of Ni Made Santi Nareswari, Ni Putu Sinta Maheswari, and Esa Prasanthi Candrika managed to come out in 3rd place.
