Tax Seminar by DJP at the National Education University
Denpasar – On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, a Tax Seminar was held by the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) in the Theater Room of the National Education University (Undiknas), Denpasar. This event was attended by Undiknas students with the aim of increasing understanding and awareness, especially among the younger generation, about the importance of paying taxes.
The seminar aimed to provide comprehensive education about the crucial role of taxes in a country’s development. The taxes collected by the government are allocated for various needs, such as infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and social programs that benefit the broader community.
In his remarks, a representative from DJP emphasized that awareness of tax obligations must be instilled from an early age. The younger generation, as future leaders of the nation, plays an essential role in ensuring the continuity of national development. By understanding the importance of taxes, it is hoped that they will become compliant and responsible citizens in fulfilling their obligations.
During the seminar, students received in-depth explanations about various types of taxes, payment procedures, and the direct benefits that society can experience from the taxes they pay. Additionally, seminar participants were invited to discuss and share their experiences and views on the tax system in Indonesia.
The event was met with enthusiasm by the students. Many of them asked questions and actively participated in the Q&A session, demonstrating high interest and concern for tax issues among the younger generation.
