DENPASAR – A magnificent and colorful atmosphere has just enveloped the Auditorium of the National Education University in commemoration of this year’s Kartini Day Kartini . As the #bestcampusinBali, Undiknas successfully held the Archipelago Traditional Costume Parade, which was enthusiastically participated in by the entire academic community. Not only the women, but the men or “Kartono” also looked dashing in traditional attire from various regions of the archipelago. This event successfully attracted public attention due to the displayed cultural diversity, which was so captivating, esthetic, and highly inspiring. The event held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, showcases the richness of the archipelago’s heritage in the eyes of the younger generation. Since 14:30 WITA, the participants began to fill the auditorium area with a sense of pride, wearing their respective regional attributes. Each outfit worn reflects the deep philosophy of various tribes spread across all corners of Indonesia. This event was officially opened by the Chairwoman of Kartini Undiknas, Mrs. Dr. Ni Wayan Widhiasthini S.Sos, M.Si. with a message of struggle and perseverance. This is concrete evidence that Undiknas excels in instilling the values of love for the homeland in the entire university family.

The audience erupted in applause as the parade began with a highly professional fashion show on the main stage. All the employes, lecturers, and students looked very harmonious in their traditional woven fabrics and highly detailed accessories. The highlight of the event was concluded with an emotional moment when Mrs. Dr. Ni Wayan Widhiasthini S.Sos, M.Si. recited a meaningful poem. She recited the poem in turn with Mrs. Dr. AAA. Ngurah Sri Rahayu Gorda, S.H., M.M., M.H., CCD., C.Med, the head of the committee. This poetic collaboration serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving the nation’s identity and harmony in the modern era.
