Bali — Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) has achieved another milestone at the national level by taking part in the Pekan Ilmiah Mahasiswa Nasional (PIMNAS) 2025, hosted by Hasanuddin University. PIMNAS is the largest scientific competition for university students in Indonesia and serves as the culmination of the Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM), organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology through the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas). This event stands as the highest form of recognition for PKM participants while fostering a conducive scientific atmosphere, enhancing creativity, and encouraging students’ independence in developing scientific knowledge and innovation. PIMNAS also serves as an academic forum that brings together students from various universities to present their best research findings.
At the 38th PIMNAS, Undiknas successfully qualified in the Social Humanities Research (RSH) category — a research field that focuses on analyzing social and cultural phenomena using scientific approaches. The Undiknas team presented a research project titled:
“Integration of Tri Hita Karana in Psychocultural and Financial Utilization as a Strategy for Good Governance in the Management of Bali Aga Village Credit Institutions.”
The research emphasizes the implementation of local wisdom values—Tri Hita Karana—as psychocultural aspects combined with financial utilization to reinforce good governance practices within the management of Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) in Bali Aga. This topic offers a fresh perspective on the synergy between local culture and modern financial management.
The PKM–RSH team from Undiknas was supervised by Dr. I Nyoman Sunarta, SE., M.Si.Ak, with the following student researchers:
• Ngurah Keshawa Satya Santiarsa (team leader, Management – International Class)
• Rizma Dewi Fatmawati (Management)
• Ni Wayan Santhi Pratiwi (Accounting)
• Yuliani Tetin Naban (Psychology)
• Ni Putu Darmaning Swasti Pramesti (Psychology)
Undiknas’ participation in PIMNAS 2025 reaffirms its position as a higher education institution that fosters a strong research and innovation culture among students. This achievement also highlights Undiknas’ dedication to producing young generations who are capable of contributing scientifically to address social, economic, and cultural challenges.
With this accomplishment, Undiknas hopes to inspire more students to enhance their academic potential through research and community engagement, and to be ready to compete at both the national and international levels.
