
Undiknas University and Long Island University Global Hold Social Entrepreneurship Workshop in Bali
Denpasar – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), in collaboration with Long Island University Global (LIU Global), hosted a collaborative program titled “Implementation of Workshop Social Entrepreneurship Program Between Universitas Pendidikan Nasional and Long Island University Global.” This inspiring three-week workshop took place from April 3 to April 21, 2025, at the Makadaya Impact Centre in Ubud, Bali — a location renowned for its lush natural environment and strong commitment to sustainability.
The workshop was designed to bridge academic concepts with real-world practices through global collaboration, encouraging innovation and solution-oriented thinking in addressing social issues. The program brought together students, faculty, and social entrepreneurship practitioners from both universities, creating a space for rich cross-cultural and interdisciplinary interaction filled with diverse perspectives and experiences.
A variety of engaging activities were part of the program. The opening sessions featured expert speakers who shared in-depth insights into the evolution of social entrepreneurship. Participants were then divided into interdisciplinary groups to design innovative solutions to real-world societal challenges. The program also included interactive workshops that explored topics such as sustainable development, ethical business models, and community empowerment.
Cultural exchange was also a key highlight of the workshop.
