The collaboration began with a field visit by the Undiknas FIK team to AMI School, which took place as a follow-up to the Psychology Month activities where FIK lecturers were actively involved. This engagement opened the door for deeper collaboration with AMI School. The purpose of this initiative is to align the perceptions of both parties regarding the form and objectives of the collaboration to be undertaken in the future.
Furthermore, this process is planned to continue with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Undiknas and AMI School. Currently, both parties are awaiting a suitable schedule to hold the signing event.
This partnership aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4, which aims to “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.” The target within this goal emphasizes the importance of eliminating gender disparities in education and ensuring equal access to all levels of education and vocational training for vulnerable groups, including persons with disabilities, indigenous peoples, and children in vulnerable situations.
Through this collaboration, Undiknas and AMI School are committed to developing programs that support inclusive education, enabling more individuals from diverse backgrounds to benefit from quality education. Therefore, this partnership is expected not only to have a positive impact on both institutions but also to contribute to the achievement of SDGs in the field of education.
