Undiknas Students Participate in Journalism Workshop at Radar Bali Office
Denpasar – On August 28, 2024, students from Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) took part in a journalism workshop held at the Radar Bali office. This workshop provided students with the opportunity to learn about broadcasting and presenting, including how to become a professional reporter and news writer.
The workshop was divided into two main stages. In the first session, participants visited the Radar Bali office to gain direct insight into how reporters and news writers carry out their daily tasks. Students had the opportunity to observe the news coverage process, article writing, and how news is professionally delivered to the public.
The second stage took place at U Radio Undiknas on a different day, where students had the chance to practice broadcasting firsthand. They learned how to be a good radio host and presenter, guided by lecturers who provided material on basic broadcasting and presentation techniques.
In addition to hands-on practice, the workshop also provided strong theoretical foundations on how to write informative and engaging news, as well as how to deliver news through broadcast media. Students received guidance from experts, both from Radar Bali and Undiknas lecturers, to enhance their skills in journalism and mass communication.
This workshop is expected to serve as an effective platform for students to broaden their knowledge and skills in journalism while giving them direct experience in taking on roles as broadcasters, presenters, and reporters. Through this activity, students are expected to be able to apply the knowledge they gained in the real world of work and further develop their potential in media and communication.
