Student Representative Council (DPM) of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) Conducts Benchmarking Study at STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja

Denpasar – The Student Representative Council (DPM) of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) conducted a benchmarking study with STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja. This activity, themed “Uniting in diversity, learning from each other. Together, we build networks, inspire, and grow together,” aimed to strengthen inter-institutional collaboration and build broader networks. (April 27, 2024)

The benchmarking study was attended by members of DPM Undiknas and DPM STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja. In an atmosphere filled with camaraderie and a passion for learning, both parties shared experiences and best practices in carrying out student institutional duties and functions. The discussions covered various topics, including the development of work programs, improvement of student services quality, and strategies to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This activity aligns with the SDGs, particularly Goal 4 on quality education, Goal 10 on reducing inequality, and Goal 17 on partnerships to achieve the goals. Through the exchange of knowledge and experiences, this benchmarking study is expected to enhance the capacity of student institutions in supporting efforts to achieve the SDGs within their respective campuses.

In addition to formal discussions, the activity included visits to various facilities and student activity units at STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja. Participants had the opportunity to directly observe various innovations and programs implemented by STAHN Mpu Kuturan, which could serve as references and inspiration for program development at Undiknas.

Christoforus Rio, Chairman of DPM Undiknas, stated that this benchmarking study is an important step in strengthening networks and collaboration among student institutions. By learning from each other, it is hoped that they can implement best practices that can enhance the quality of services and student contributions in achieving sustainable development goals.

Through this benchmarking activity, Undiknas and STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja reaffirm their commitment to supporting sustainable development and building a generation that is not only academically competent but also socially conscious. It is hoped that such activities can continue and be developed as part of efforts to create an inclusive, competitive, and sustainable academic community.
