Undiknas Participates in International Company Visit to Thailand: Enhancing Learning and Global Collaboration
Denpasar, Indonesia – May 20, 2024 – Students from Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) experienced a valuable opportunity through an international company visit to Thailand from May 15 to 18, 2024. Organized by Mahidol University, one of the most prestigious universities in Thailand, this program provided in-depth and inspiring insights through a series of activities.
During the visit to Mahidol University, Undiknas students attended the Mahidol Engineering Maker Expo. At this expo, they had the opportunity to exchange ideas with Mahidol engineering students who presented their innovative capstone projects. The expo showcased exceptional creativity and technical skills, enriching the knowledge of Undiknas students and providing a platform for constructive and inspiring knowledge exchange.
Additionally, the visit included comprehensive benchmarking sessions on waste management practices. The students visited several facilities, including the University Waste Bank, the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy Learning Room, and the Composting Plant. These visits highlighted the importance of sustainable practices and waste management, crucial for creating a greener future. The students gained valuable insights into the practical applications of sustainability principles, highly relevant in modern engineering and environmental management.
Discussions were also held on the potential for academic collaboration between Undiknas and Mahidol University, focusing on joint research projects, student exchanges, and other academic initiatives that could benefit both institutions.
This international visit not only enhanced the educational experience of Undiknas students but also strengthened Undiknas’ commitment to fostering global partnerships and promoting sustainable practices.
