Table Manner and Personality Development: Increasing the Self-Competency of Undiknas Students
Denpasar, 29 April 2024 – On Saturday, 27 April 2024, and Sunday, 28 April 2024, the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) held Table Manner and Personality Development activities. This event aims to provide students with an understanding of the importance of personality development, including understanding self-concept, communication skills, and interpersonal relationships, and how to apply this in the world of work.
This activity was held for two days and was attended by Undiknas first semester students. On the first day, the activity was filled with sessions led by Putu Riana Artyanti Putri, M.Psi., a psychologist, as well as resource persons from the Inna Sindhu Beach Hotel. They discuss various aspects of personality and the importance of developing interpersonal skills in the world of work.
The second session on Sunday also featured two speakers from Undiknas University, namely Ir. Adie Wahyudi Oktavia Gama S.T., M.T., I.P.M., ASEAN Eng., and Ratna Devi Winayanti, S.Psi, M.Psi. Apart from that, resource persons from the Inna Sindhu Beach Hotel were also present. They discuss personality development strategies and techniques that can help students improve their self-esteem and prepare for future careers.
It is hoped that participation in this activity can help Undiknas students improve their interpersonal skills, which are very necessary in the competitive world of work. In addition, it is hoped that the understanding gained from this activity will help them face future challenges more confidently and effectively.
This Table Manner and Personality Development activity is one of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional’s efforts to prepare students to become competent and qualified professionals in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially point 4 related to education. We hope that students who take part in this activity can apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in their daily lives and the future.
