National Seminar “ARSIP NASIONAL #1” Discusses Stakeholder Collaboration in Developing Tourist Villages
Denpasar, April 5, 2024 – The Public Administration Student Association (HIMAPRODI) of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) held a National Seminar titled “ARSIP NASIONAL #1” with the main theme “Stakeholder Collaboration in Developing Tourist Villages to Achieve Sustainable Tourism.” The event, held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, is part of the annual work program of the Public Administration Student Association.
In this event, the Public Administration Student Association successfully presented competent speakers in their fields, who provided in-depth insights into the importance of stakeholder collaboration in developing tourist villages to achieve sustainable tourism goals. The seminar was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing participation both in person and online, enabling attendees from various locations to join.
The Chairperson of the Public Administration Student Association, in his opening remarks, expressed hope that this event would provide education and understanding of current issues developing in Indonesia. The seminar is expected to offer new insights to the millennial generation regarding stakeholder collaboration in developing tourist villages and enhance students’ critical awareness of these issues.
The seminar was also attended by various related parties, including the Vice-Rector for Academic Development of UNDIKNAS University, showing the university’s support for the event. Additionally, the participation of invited guests, including faculty deans, program heads, and representatives from various student organizations, also played a crucial role in the event’s success.
The speakers featured in this seminar included Dr. H. Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, B.B.A., M.B.A., Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia; Ida Bagus Adi Laksana, S.E., M.Si., Head of the Tourism Destination Division of Bali Province; and Dr. A.A.A Ngurah Tini Rusmini Gorda, S.H., M.M., Head of the Study Center at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional Denpasar, Bali. They provided deep and inspiring presentations on efforts to collaborate among stakeholders in developing tourist villages.
The seminar also included engaging question-and-answer sessions and discussions between speakers and participants. Each discussion was moderated by a competent moderator to guide the flow of the conversation.
The entire series of activities in “ARSIP NASIONAL #1” ran smoothly and successfully, both offline and online. It is hoped that the insights and understanding gained from this seminar will contribute positively to the development of knowledge and understanding among students and benefit the wider community in efforts to sustain tourism in Indonesia.
