Denpasar, 3 January 2024 – Students from the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) took part in a series of moot court activities on 2 January 2024. These activities were carried out in the Undiknas moot courtroom, a special simulation facility designed to replicate as accurately as possible the atmosphere original judicial space in Indonesia.
This simulation aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the procedures and flow of justice. This activity is aimed at ensuring that Undiknas students who will later enter the professional world in the legal field have a strong understanding of the process and dynamics of a trial.
Undiknas is the only private campus in Bali that has this quasi-judicial room. Its existence is a distinct advantage in the learning process of Undiknas students in the field of law, ensuring that they get a unique experience that is not available at other private campuses in Bali.
The moot court process involves students in various roles, from prosecutors, judges, and lawyers, to defendants. Each student functions according to their chosen role, creating an atmosphere that approximates the reality of actual justice.
Accompanied by experienced lecturers in their fields, this moot court process aims to provide Undiknas students with experience and an in-depth understanding of the operation of justice in Indonesia. It is hoped that student involvement in this activity will equip them with practical understanding and skills that are relevant to their future professional careers.
