
Enhancing Village Transparency, BEM FH Undiknas Holds FH Learning Session #3 in Kukuh Village
TABANAN – he Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), successfully organized FH Learning Session #3 on Friday, March 27, 2026. Held at the Balai Serba Guna in Kukuh Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency, the event focused on strengthening the capacity of village officials to achieve professional governance. This forum served as a platform to improve effective, efficient, transparent, and accountable village management.

Synergy Between Academics and Village Government Officials
The activity brought together students, academics, and village government officials in an interactive discussion forum. The goal was to strengthen synergy in realizing better and more professional governance in the future. Carrying the theme “Optimizing the Effectiveness and Efficiency of Village Governance Implementation in Achieving Transparent and Accountable Governance” the event emphasized the vital application of good governance principles in every aspect of village administration.

Overcoming Administrative and Financial Challenges
During the seminar, speakers presented crucial materials regarding efforts to optimize village bureaucracy to be more responsive to community needs through administrative effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally, the session covered transparent village financial management strategies to avoid technical obstacles and ensure governance functions smoothly. Participants showed great enthusiasm, not only by asking questions but also by actively sharing real-world experiences and challenges faced in daily village governance practices.

Contextual Learning for Law Students
In addition to benefiting village officials, FH Learning Session #3 served as a contextual laboratory for law students to directly observe the implementation of administrative law within society. Through these interactions, students gained more than just theoretical insights; they obtained a clear picture of the field dynamics that enrich their academic perspective. This gave the activity added value as a collaborative learning space based on real experience.

Supporting the Global Agenda (SDGs)
The implementation of this activity is also aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDGs 4 (Quality Education) through capacity building and knowledge enhancement for participants. Furthermore, the program supports SDGs 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by strengthening inclusive, sustainable, and responsive village governance. Through this synergy, it is expected to provide a tangible contribution to improving the quality of village governance in the future.
