National Education University To Provide Rakernas Bem in Indonesia 2022 in Bali
Denpasar – The Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM. ASEAN.Eng., was also present at the 15th National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the Allied Student Executive Board (BEM) throughout Indonesia, which was held at the Ksirarnawa Building, Taman Budaya, Denpasar, on Monday 19 September 2022. The event was officially opened by the Governor of Bali, Mr. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Koster, M.M., who was also present at the BEM SI National Working Meeting with the Mayor of Denpasar I.G.N. Jaya Negara, S.E.(19/9/2022)
The series of activities of the 15th BEM SI National Working Meeting made the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional the organizer of the activity. The Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, Professor Sri Subawa, greatly appreciated the holding of the 15th BEM SI National Working Meeting. In his remarks, the Rector expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Bali, Mr. Wayan Koster, for the support that has been given. The Chancellor also emphasized that through the National Working Meeting held, students could learn not only knowledge but also about how to organize.
“Thank you to the Governor, for facilitating the National Working Meeting of BEM throughout Indonesia, and for this year the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional has been trusted as the organizer of this activity,” said Rector Professor Sri Subawa.
Meanwhile, Governor Koster in his opening speech invited all BEMs in Indonesia to clench their left fists and evaluate student chants.
“Long live the students, Long live the Indonesian people, Long live the Indonesian Nation and Forward Indonesian Students,” said the Governor of Bali who was immediately greeted with great enthusiasm by the students.
As the Governor of Bali, he is very positive about the activities of the National Working Meeting of BEM SI which can be held in Bali. In addition, the Governor of Bali involved all ranks of the BEM SI alliance which in the National Working Meeting activities could contribute together to advancing the life of the Indonesian nation and state.
Not giving the spirit of cooperation in advancing the nation and state, the Governor of Bali who is also a former student activist during his education only believes that through BEM SI activities students will gain experience in the form of knowledge, organizational experience, management, and leadership that will be very useful in the future.
“So that through the world of organization, individuals will grow stronger, tougher, with character, with identity, and that’s where leaders will be able to make positive changes and have an impact on the life of the Nation and State,” explained the Governor of Bali.
