Pros Cons Policy of Subsidized Fuel Increase with State Administration Students Universitas Pendidikan Nasional

Denpasar – To train students’ knowledge and insight on strategic issues that occur in today’s society, the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) through the Student Association of the State Administration Science Study Program (Himaprodi IAN) held a series of Focus Group Discussions (FGD) 2022 activities, where the participants focus on discussing current issues in the community which are later expected to result in an agreement on how to take an attitude towards an ongoing issue, and what steps can be taken to respond to the issue. The series of Focus Group Discussion activities opened with remarks from the Head of the Organizing Committee and the Head of the State Administration Science Study Program, Mrs. Ni Putu Bayu Widhi Antari, S.I.A., M.P.A. who also became a moderator in the series of FGD events that took place. The activity took place in Building C, National Education University, which was attended by students majoring in State Administration at the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional.

The main agenda of the activity is filled with discussions related to the topic of discussion with the theme “Pros and Cons of the Policy of Subsidized Fuel Increase” which is currently a hot issue in the community. The participants had the opportunity to express their thoughts and points of view regarding the issues being discussed in the ongoing FGD. The activity took place with great enthusiasm from the participants, all participants were able to exchange ideas and express their opinions and receive feedback from the opinions they conveyed so that a conclusion was obtained which became the output of a series of FGD activities. The presentation of the conclusions from the discussion results of the participants by Mrs. Bayu Widhi Antari as the moderator of the event became the closing agenda of the series of FGD activities.

Through the implementation of a series of Focus Group Discussion activities, it is hoped that it can provide new insights for students and train their ability to think and express opinions, and points of view and determine their attitudes and responses to an issue that occurs in society.
