The Chairman Of The Province Of Bali Attends Student Week Undiknas, Educating Of Prospective Students On The Importance Of Use Of Voting Rights

Denpasar – In a series of student week implementations at the National Education University (Undiknas). On Friday, September 10, 2022, the chairman of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Bali Province I Dewa Agung Gede Lidartawan, S.TP., M.P. attended a speaker at the Undiknas student week event, in order to provide socialization and education to prospective Undiknas students on the importance of the role of young people in democracy. The head of the Bali Provincial KPU, Mr. Agung Lidartawan, arrived at Undiknas at 12:00 WITA. His arrival was warmly welcomed by the Undiknas Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM. along with the Vice-Rectors. The head of the Bali Provincial KPU, Mr. Agung Lidartawan, was present as a speaker accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Human Resources and Finance, Dr. A A A N Tini Rusmini Gorda, SH., MM., MH. In his presentation session, Mr. Agung Lidartawan wanted to invite all prospective students who took part in Undiknas student week activities to contribute to the democratic activities of the State of Indonesia. As future successors, young people play an important role in the progress of the nation. The use of the right to vote is a small step that has a massive impact on changing a country.

“By choosing our leaders, we have helped determine the direction of change in our nation,” said Mr. Agung Lidartawan in his socialization at Undiknas.

Through this activity, it is hoped that it will increase the role of the younger generation in implementing democracy in Indonesia, as well as educating young people about the importance of using voting rights in the democratic process to choose the best leaders who can carry out their duties for the welfare of the people and advancing the Indonesian nation. The end of the socialization activity was filled with a question and answer session with the student week participants who were present, followed by the handover of certificates along with souvenirs to Mr. Agung Lidartawan, the Head of the Bali Provincial KPU as the speaker.
