Denpasar – Wednesday, September 21, 2022, the University of National Education received a visit from Michael F. Kleine as Chargé d’Affaires, U.S. Embassy of Jakarta. Michael F. Kleine is a United States (US) foreign service officer with more than 20 years of experience. Michael F. Kleine currently serves as Deputy US Ambassador to Indonesia. Before joining the diplomatic corps, Deputy Ambassador Kleine was a lawyer in Washington, D.C. Michael Kleine holds a bachelor’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in professional law from Duke University. He also has a master’s degree in national security strategy from the National War College in Washington. (21/9/2022)
Deputy Ambassador Klein’s visit to the National Education University yesterday was to carry out a talk show related to the role of the US embassy as a representative of the US government in Indonesia and also related to the mission of implementing the G20 in rebuilding the world economic turmoil. Deputy Ambassador Klein and his staff arrived at the National Education University, which was welcomed by the academic community of the National Education University. Also present at the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Dr. I Made Wirya Darma, S.H., M.H., Head of Undiknas Study Center Dr. AAA. Ngurah Tini Rusmini Gorda, S.H., M.M., M.H., and the ranks of the Deans of the Faculty of the University.
In his activities, Deputy Ambassador Klein held a talk show which was attended by students at the University accompanied by Anak Agung Mia Intentilia, S.IP., M.A., as the moderator of the event, the students had the opportunity to ask Deputy Ambassador Klein regarding the topics raised in the talk show activities. The enthusiasm of the participants was seen from the many questions asked, the students who attended felt very impressed with the visit made by Deputy Ambassador Klein so that students could gain new insights that they could not only learn from classroom activities.
Not only talk shows, but Deputy Ambassador Klein also carried out campus visits to see all the facilities owned by the National University of Education. The visit of the Deputy Ambassador of Klein was closed with a group photo session with all levels of the academic community who were present in the activity.
