SMOOTH Undiknas 2025 Resmi Dibuka: Bekal Awal Mahasiswa Baru Menuju Generasi Mandiri dan Berkarakter
Denpasar, 1 September 2025 – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) secara resmi membuka kegiatan SMOOTH 2025 (Shankara Muda Orientation Of the Humanity), sebuah program orientasi mahasiswa baru yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi proses adaptasi, pengenalan lingkungan kampus, serta penanaman nilai-nilai akademik dan kebangsaan.
SMOOTH menjadi langkah awal bagi mahasiswa baru untuk mempersiapkan diri menjadi pribadi yang dewasa, mandiri, serta memiliki kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara. Melalui program ini, mahasiswa tidak hanya diperkenalkan pada sistem pembelajaran di Undiknas, tetapi juga memahami hak dan kewajiban mereka selama menempuh pendidikan di universitas.
Kegiatan SMOOTH 2025 dilaksanakan selama empat hari, mulai 1 hingga 4 September 2025, dengan rangkaian agenda yang berlangsung di area kampus Universitas Pendidikan Nasional. Berbagai aktivitas interaktif, edukatif, dan inspiratif telah disusun untuk membekali mahasiswa baru dalam perjalanan akademik maupun pengembangan diri.
Acara secara resmi dibuka oleh Rektor Undiknas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN Eng. Dalam sambutannya, beliau menekankan pentingnya orientasi ini sebagai fondasi awal pembentukan karakter mahasiswa yang unggul, berintegritas, dan siap menghadapi tantangan global.
Agenda pembukaan SMOOTH juga diisi dengan prosesi penyematan atribut Universitas kepada mahasiswa baru oleh Rektor, didampingi oleh panitia serta jajaran akademik. Prosesi ini menjadi simbol penerimaan dan pengukuhan status mahasiswa baru sebagai bagian dari keluarga besar Undiknas.
SMOOTH 2025 diharapkan mampu melahirkan generasi muda Undiknas yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki kepedulian sosial, wawasan kebangsaan, serta komitmen untuk berkontribusi bagi masyarakat dan bangsa. Sejalan dengan agenda global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SMOOTH 2025 turut mendukung pilar Quality Education dengan memberikan akses pendidikan yang inklusif dan bermutu melalui pembekalan akademik sejak dini. Melalui program ini, Undiknas berkomitmen untuk mencetak generasi muda yang tidak hanya berprestasi, tetapi juga siap menjadi agen perubahan yang siap berkontribusi di masyarakat maupun industri.

SMOOTH Undiknas 2025 Officially Opens: A First Step for New Students Toward Becoming Independent and Strong in Character
Denpasar, September 1, 2025 – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) officially opened SMOOTH 2025 (Shankara Muda Orientation Of the Humanity), an orientation program designed to facilitate the adaptation process, introduce students to the campus environment, and instill both academic and national values.
SMOOTH serves as the first step for new students to prepare themselves to become mature, independent individuals with a strong sense of national identity and civic responsibility. Through this program, students are not only introduced to the academic system at Undiknas but also guided to understand their rights and obligations throughout their university journey.
The SMOOTH 2025 program takes place over four days, from September 1 to 4, 2025, with a series of interactive, educational, and inspiring activities held across the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional campus. These activities are carefully designed to equip new students for both academic success and personal development.
The event was officially opened by the Rector of Undiknas, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN Eng. In his address, he emphasized the importance of orientation as a foundational step in shaping students with excellence, integrity, and readiness to face global challenges.
The opening agenda also featured the symbolic pinning of university attributes onto new students by the Rector, accompanied by the organizing committee and academic leaders. This ceremony represented the official acceptance and affirmation of the students as part of the Undiknas academic family.
SMOOTH 2025 is expected to nurture a new generation of Undiknas students who are not only intellectually capable but also socially conscious, nationally minded, and committed to contributing to society and the nation.
