Vision of the Master of Management Study Program

Guided by the vision of Undiknas Postgraduate Program and its Strategic Plan, the vision is made as follows:

Become an excellent program in the field of Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi) with the values ​​of Tri Hita Karana to produce human resources by having high integrity, professionalism, global and digital insight in 2038.

Mission of the Master of Management Study Program

Based on the vision of the program as described above, Undiknas Master of Management Program formulates the mission as follows:

  1. Running high quality of management education based on Tri Hita Karana values ​​to produce human resources (HR) with integrity, professionalism, global and digital insight;
  2. Implementing quality of management research and imbued with the values ​​of Tri Hita Karana for the development of science and technology, the development of educational materials, and the advancement of society;
  3. Conducting high quality community service based on  values ​​of Tri Hita Karana as a proof of real contribution of Magister Management Program for improving the quality of community life;
  4. Doing institutional strengthening of the program and implementing governance in accordance with the principles of international good university governance regarding Tri Hita Karana;
  5. Carry out improvement in the quality of the program resources by referring to international standards and technological advancements, while still adhering to the values ​​of local wisdom;
  6. Establishing strategic and ongoing cooperation with relevant institutions at the international, national, and local levels.

Objectives of the Master of Management Program

In line with the vision and mission of the program, Undiknas Master of Management Program formulates the following objectives:

  1. Implementing a holistic teaching process and technology-oriented progress, always referring to high quality standards and best practices at the international level;
  2. Generating management research findings that present the latest innovations in management theory and practice, which are published internationally;
  3. Producing community service through the application of the results of management research, science, and technology by always upholding the values ​​adopted by the community;
  4. Strengthening the position and legitimacy of study programs in the midst of society;
  5. Ensuring the fulfillment of the best criteria in the accreditation of study programs by national accreditation bodies, as well as realizing the status of being accredited by an international accreditation body by showing the value of local wisdom as unique;
  6. Improving the quality of human resources, physical infrastructure, digital technology infrastructure, and financial resources of study programs in a sustainable manner, with orientation towards technological progress, international level qualifications, and local wisdom values;
  7. Expanding networks of collaborative study programs with institutions abroad, international institutions, national-level institutions, and local institutions, as well as optimizing the use of its results.

MILESTONE Master of Management (Stages of Achieving Vision)

Vision of Master of Management is realistic and can be measured reliably on its achievements. The realistic and measurable vision of the program is reflected in milestones and shows the stages of achieving that vision and the benchmarks for achieving each stage. The milestones of vision owned by Undiknas Master of Management Program are presented in the following figure:

As presented in the picture above, Undiknas Master of Management program’s milestones include four phases with very clear time stages and measurable achievements. Specifically, the milestones of Undiknas Master of Management Program can be elaborated as follows:

 

 

  1. 2018 – 2023 Strengthening ASEAN Competitiveness

This phase focuses on strengthening the competitiveness of Master Management at ASEAN level, which is manifested in:

  • Recruitment of lecturers who have doctoral education qualifications from reputable overseas universities
  • Improving the quality of academic programs and the quality of the implementation of the Tri Dharma College through membership in international accreditation bodies (ABEST21 and AACSB)
  • Strengthening the quality of Tri Dharma Higher Education through synergy with partner universities in ASEAN countries by not closing opportunities for synergy with universities in other regions (for example universities in Australia)
  • Intense mobility of students and lecturers at the ASEAN level through programs such as:
  • Joint research
  • Joint publication
  • Student Exchange
  • Academic conference
  1. Year 2023 – 2028 Strengthening Asian Competitiveness

This phase focuses on strengthening the competitiveness of Master of Management Program at the Asian level, manifested in:

  • Recruitment of lecturers who have doctoral education qualifications from reputable overseas universities
  • Improving the quality of academic programs and the quality of the implementation of the Tri Dharma Higher Education through activeness in membership of international accreditation bodies (ABEST21 and AACSB)
  • Improving the quality of governance of study programs and the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education or Tri Dharma Perguruan TInggi through the submission of AACSB accreditation
  • Strengthening the quality of Tri Dharma Perguruan TInggi through synergy with partner universities in Asian countries by not closing opportunities for synergy with universities in other regions (for example universities in Australia, the United States, and Europe)
  • Intense mobility of students and lecturers at the Asian level through programs such as:
  • Joint research
  • Joint publication
  • Student Exchange
  • Academic conference
  • Ensure that Master of Management Program is included in the list of business school ranking by reputed international rating (for example QS and Times Higer Education), and recognized as a reputable business school (for example included in the top 750 ranking in QS Ranking)
  1. 2028 – 2033 Strengthening Asia-Pacific Competitiveness

This phase focuses on strengthening the competitiveness of Master of Management Program at the Asia-Pacific level, which is manifested in:

  • Recruitment of lecturers who have doctoral education qualifications from reputable overseas universities, especially universities that are ranked in the world’s top 300
  • Improving the quality of academic programs and the quality of the implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education) through activeness in membership of international accreditation bodies (ABEST21 and AACSB)
  • Continue the steps in applying accreditation to AACSB
  • Strengthening the quality of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi through synergy with partner universities in Asia-Pacific countries by not closing opportunities for synergy with universities in other regions (for example universities in Australia, the United States, and Europe)
  • Intense mobility of students and lecturers at the Asia-Pacific level through programs such as:
  • Joint research
  • Joint publication
  • Student Exchange
  • Academic exchange
  • Visiting professor
  • Academic conference
  • Improve Master of Management Program ranking in the list of business school ranking by reputable international ratings, so that it can be in the top 600 position in the Asia-Pacific region
  1. In 2033 – 2038 Undiknas Master of Management Program will be Excellent at the Asia-Pacific Level:
  • Master Management Program of Undiknas is included in the ranking of the top 500 prosthesis business schools in the Asia-Pacific;
  • Master Management Program of Undiknas is accredited by the international accreditation body AACSB)

This phase focuses on strengthening the final steps in achieving the vision, which is manifested in:

  • The status of Master Management Program of Undiknas is accredited by AACSB
  • Intense activity in the global environment through membership in international accreditation institutions (ABEST21 and AACSB)
  • Implementation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi at university level through synergy with university partners in Asia-Pacific countries, Europe, America and other regions
  • Intense mobility of students and lecturers at the Asia-Pacific level and in other regions of the world through programs such as:
