Table Manner and Personality Development for Universitas Pendidikan Nasional Students
Sanur, October 12-13, 2024 – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) held a two-day Table Manner and Personality Development event at Inna Sindhu Hotel, Sanur. The event was attended by first-year students of the 2024/2025 academic year, aimed at providing in-depth understanding related to personality, interpersonal communication, and formal etiquette.
The program was divided into four sessions over the two days. On the first day, October 12, 2024, the first and second sessions were led by two speakers, Ni Nyoman Imas Pradnyanita Wistarini, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist and Ni Wayan Yuli Anggreni, M.Psi., Psychologist. The Table Manner session on the first day was presented by representatives from Hotel Inna Sindhu Beach, offering practical guidance on international dining etiquette, which is crucial for students when attending formal events in the future.
On the second day, October 13, 2024, the third and fourth sessions continued with speakers Putu Ayu Onik Pratidina, S. Psi., M. Psi., Psychologist and Ida Bagus Gde Agung Yoga Pramana, S.Psi., M.Psi.. The material focused on self-development, covering topics such as self-concept, effective communication, and building healthy relationships with others. The Table Manner session on the second day was also led by speakers from Hotel Inna Sindhu Beach.
This event aimed not only to enhance students’ knowledge about personality and etiquette but also to prepare them for entering the workforce. A solid understanding of self-concept and strong communication skills are essential assets for students as they begin their careers. Additionally, the table manner skills taught are expected to provide practical insights for formal situations such as official dining events, which are often part of the professional world.
Undiknas students are encouraged to apply the knowledge gained from this event in their daily lives and to develop a solid and professional personality to face future challenges.
