Siylep 2022 With The National Education University: Youth Entrepreneurship And Tourism Recovery Post Pandemic
Denpasar – SIYLEP (Singapore – Indonesian Youth Leaders Exchange Program) is a program developed by the ministries of Indonesia and Singapore to provide experiences and lessons for youth in various aspects, in 2022, SIYLEP made a visit to the National Education University with the theme “Youth Entrepreneurship and Tourism Recovery Post-Pandemic,”. The series of activities were held at the Dwi Tunggal Auditorium, National Education University on Tuesday, 20 September 2022. Present at the event, the Rector of the National Education University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM. ASEAN.Eng., Head of the International Youth Partnership Division, Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia Drs. Abri Eko Noerjanto, M.M., Assistant for Youth International Partnership, Ministry of Youth and Sports RI, Wisler Manalu, M.M., Vice Rector for Partnership and Entrepreneurship at the National Education University Agus Fredy Maradona, S.E, Ak., MSA., Ph.D., at the same time as a speaker, Head of ASEAN and International Study Center Anak Agung Mia Intentilia S.IP., M.A., as event moderator, delegates and participants in Singapore – Indonesia student exchange activities. At the opening ceremony of the Rector of the National Education University, a speech was delivered.
“We are very proud of this program to be able to visit our University, as our starting point to welcome the year of Internationalization. We hope that through this collaboration, we can provide more experiences for students to share knowledge, culture, and broaden their horizons on Global Issues and actively participate in the recovery movement,” said Rector Professor Sri Subawa.
Rector Professor Sri Subawa hopes that holding Student Exchange activities, it is hoped that it can motivate the younger generation to play a role in the post-pandemic economic recovery through their entrepreneurial spirit. In line with the Rector, the Assistant for Youth International Partnership, Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia his speech also conveyed.
“We hope that all delegates of this activity can provide insight for the various parties involved, which will later be able to generate ideas and recommendations to improve the post-pandemic tourism sector,”
After the welcome session, the activity continued with a group photo session, a presentation of material filled a material presentation by Mr. Agus Fredy Maradona, S.E, Ak., MSA., Ph.D. regarding aspects of entrepreneurial generation in encouraging tourism revival as well as group discussion forums discussing ideas -The idea of the younger generation in generating tourism after the pandemic.
