Sun-Fun Day Undiknas: Ruang Temu-Tebus Rindu Alumni Dan Pelantikan Pengurus Kabenas
Denpasar – Located at the ceremony field, Undiknas held a Sun-Fun Day (Sunday Fun Day), a series of activities for the 53rd Anniversary or Dies Natalis Month (BUDINATA) of Undiknas (06/02/2022). This event was coupled with the TEBUDU (Temu-Tebus-Rindu, which means yearning for a reunion) with Undiknas Alumni and the blood donation movement. This Sun-Fun Day activity began with Zumba exercises with all the attendees. The entire academic community mingled with all of the alumni present very enthusiastically to participate in the Zumba exercises. The hot sun did not dampen their enthusiasm to participate in Zumba exercises on a sunny Sunday morning.
The activity was continued with the TEBUDU (Temu-Tebus-Rindu) event with Undiknas Alumni. Undiknas alumni, including from the ranks of businessmen, officials in Regional Government Organizations (Organisasi Pemerintah Daerah, shortened as OPD), public figures, who have successfully carried the name of the Undiknas Almamater, were present to enliven the Sun-Fun Day activities. In addition to yearning for a reunion with the alma mater, on this auspicious occasion the Inauguration of the Management of the Alumni Family of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (KABENAS) for the 2021-2024 Period was also held. This event was attended by the Mayor of Denpasar, I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara, S.E., together with his wife, Ni Sagung Made Antari Agustini, and also accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Denpasar, I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa, S.E., M.M., as Undiknas alumni who currently also serves as the core board of KABENAS. This event was also supported by the presence of Assistant I for Government and People’s Welfare of the Regional Secretariat of Bali Province, Mr. I Gde Indra Dewa Putra, S.E., M.M., members of Commission III of the Badung Regency Regional People’s Representative Assembly, Mrs. Ni Komang Tri Ani, S.E., M.Agb, People of the Regional Secretary Bali Province, Mr. I Gde Indra Dewa Putra, S.E., M.M., Head of Planning and Finance at the Regional Secretariat of Badung Regency, Mr. Anak Agung Gede Rahmadi, S.H., Head of Denpasar National Education Association, Mr. Dr. A. A. Ngurah Eddy Supriyadinata Gorda, S.Sos., M.M. along with his staff.
The inauguration of the KABENAS Management for the 2021-2024 period begins with the reading of the Rector’s Decree (SK) concerning the Establishment and Appointment of the Executive Alumni Family (KABENAS) of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional for the 2021-2024 period. After the decree was read, it was followed by a speech from the Chancellor of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM. In his remarks, the Chancellor welcomed the Sun-Fun Day activity as a reunion meeting with Undiknas alumni. He also thanked all alumni for willing to attend and reconnect with the big family of Undiknas. Then it continued with Sekapur Sirih (meaning short remark) from the Mayor of Denpasar; I Gusti Ngurah Jaya Negara, S.E., who currently also serves as Deputy Head of Education, Training, and Entrepreneurship of KABENAS. The Mayor of Denpasar hopes that Undiknas will be able to contribute both in terms of academics as well as community service and produce capable and excellent leaders in the future.
The Sun-Fun Day event then continued with karaoke together with Undiknas alumni. They were very enthusiastic to sing along; some of them even came to the stage to showcase their talents. Apart from singing, they also seemed to be dancing together on stage. Alumni and academics who want to participate in the blood donation movement are also facilitated in the Undiknas C building. This blood donation movement is a series of 53rd BUDINATA activities and Undiknas contribution in dealing with the surge in Covid-19 cases.
This event was also enlivened by food stands or business tenants from the academic community, alumni, and also students. By providing space for these tenants, Undiknas seeks to foster an entrepreneurial spirit for the big family of Undiknas. Some of these tenants also receive competitive entrepreneurship grant funding from Undiknas as an achievement of the year of entrepreneurship launched by Undiknas in 2021.
