Universitas Pendidikan Nasional GenBI Joint Donor Movement; A Little Blood For A Big Hope
Denpasar – Indonesia’s New Generation (GenBI) Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) which is part of GenBI in the Bali region. Carrying out a series of social activities on Saturday, November 19, 2022 yesterday. GenBi Bali which is a scholarship recipient community under the auspices of Bank Indonesia. To cultivate a caring attitude toward others. GenBI Bali is a member of the commissariat of universities in the Bali region, among others; The Commissariat of Udayana University, Undiknas, Warmadewa University, and Undiksha carried out a Blood Donation activity in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in Denpasar City. The activities held are intended to invite the community to help the government and also the community in meeting the current increasing need for blood. GenBI Blood Donation, as the title of the activity, carries the theme “A Little Blood for a Big Hope”. This means that through the implementation of GenBI Blood Donor activities it is hoped that it can contribute to meeting the need for blood in the community.
The GenBI Blood Donation series of activities took place at the PMI Headquarters in Denpasar City. Community enthusiasm filled the donor site during the activity. It was recorded that 70 potential donors were involved in GenBI Blood Donation activities. As a result, the committee obtained a total of 44 blood bags. This is because there are several factors that cause participants who do not meet the requirements to donate.
GenBI Universitas Pendidikan Nasional as one of the implementing committees conveyed his hopes. I hope that all the contributions and hard work of all teams and communities involved in the series of activities can continue to contribute in a sustainable manner. Thus, GenBI as an agent of change in increasing knowledge and community welfare can be optimally implemented.
