Upgrade Your Skill And Grow Up Your Bussineses With Entrepreneurship Unit Of Undiknas
Denpasar – In line with the vision of the National Education University (Undiknas) namely Being a Techno-Researchpreneur University, the Undiknas Student Activity Unit (UKM) held a seminar activity labeled as KWH ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT 2022 (08/04/2022). The seminar took place in the Dharma Negara Alaya Denpasar Discussion Room in a hybrid way (offline and online) by presenting approximately 75 participants. The seminar carried the tagline “Upgrade Your Skills and Growing Up Your Business”, which was motivated by the increasing social inequality in the community amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The influence of the pandemic has a very significant impact on the economic viability of a region in Indonesia and the Bali region, in particular, the pandemic has caused many jobs to be lost as a result of the global and massive slowdown in economic activity. During the downturn that occurred, many people who lost their jobs began to take other directions by opening various types of MSMEs and hoping to generate income from what they built to meet their daily needs.
Taking into account these conditions, Undiknas Entrepreneurship SMEs move and hold entrepreneurship learning classes, to provide the understanding and increasing skills in entrepreneurship to re-build local economic movements with SMEs.
This activity presents resource persons, who already have a long track record in the business world. The speakers presented included 1) Yus Pranatha Sudibya from Social Media Management infodenpasar, 2) Anak Agung Ngurah Wisnu Wisesa S.H., M.KN. from the TKD Bali Franchise system, and 3) I Wayan Yoga Arsana from Stock Workshop Investments.
Undiknas hopes that with this activity, the participants who attend can use the knowledge gained to be able to develop their own businesses or start new businesses. Thus, the participants have more competitiveness from the information and knowledge they have obtained in this seminar. The themes and taglines carried in this seminar can also indirectly foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students as well as raise the spirit of students in entrepreneurship. This is also in line with Undiknas’ vision and mission to produce young, independent, and characterized entrepreneurs based on research and technology.
