Nowadays, library of Undiknas University has been 50 years. It means that Undiknas University already has a special room for the library.

In the future, the library of Undiknas University continues to add to its reference collection and establish cooperation with other tertiary libraries. It is intended to support the needs of users and even more so it is for supporting students who are completing the final project. The library continues to improve providing excellent service to visitors by developing a web-based library system. With this system, at least develop students’ interest in reading through the technology they have.
Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) is located at Jl. Bedugul No. 39 Sidakarya, South Denpasar, Bali. Previously, Undiknas Library has merged with Undiknas University building on Jl. Tukad Yeh Aya Denpasar. Day by day there has been increasing number of students and limited land, so it must be recognized that it is not effective for lecture halls and libraries.
Based on the instructions of the Chair of the Foundation and Rector, bachelor degree lecture building was moved to the new building on Jl. Bedugul No. 39 Sidakarya (2003). To this, the manager of Undiknas utilizes building space in each faculty.
As directed by the Rector, Undiknas University has occupied at A building on the 2nd floor; which has (2) rooms; room 1 for registration, book circulation, computer room, discussion room and reading room; Room 2 contains a collection of various books, journals, dictionaries, reference collections: thesis / thesis / dissertation, lecturer research results. In addition, Undiknas Library has used a web-based library information system. It was intended to provide excellent service to the visitors.
Furthermore, in the new Rector leadership in June 2019, the library building in building A 2nd floor is back in the renovation both in terms of arrangement, wider room and user comfort.

Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC)
Dewey’s Decimal System combines libraries with the same or related subjects to make it easier to find libraries in the collection range. The writing uses a combination of letters and numbers. Melvil Dewey (1851 to 1931)
The classification of disciplines is based on the group of disciplines that have been divided into ten subjects, namely: 000 Generalities 100 Philosophy & Psychology Religion 300 Social Sciences 400 Language 500 Natural Science & Mathematics 600 Technology (Applied Sciences) 700 The Arts 800 Literature & Rhetoric 900 Geography & History
The collection arrangement uses the Dewey tithing system (DDC) and sequences of numbers are continued to the alphabet (as relative placement) in the collection shelves. Information Retrieval System is done through an Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) integrated in Undiknas Library information system

Terms of using the library already have a student card as well as a library member card. Activate membership card at the beginning of each semester.
Submit a photocopy of Student Card. Borrowing of general text books, can be borrowed for 7 (seven) days; can be extended once the loan period; Book Tandon (Reserve) borrowing, can be borrowed on weekends or before the national holiday Book borrowed a maximum of 2 (two) copies, while students who prepare thesis a maximum of 3 (three) copies (submit a copy of guidance card)
Show KTM; Hand over the borrowed book; Show the book along with proof of borrowing to the officer; Done.
Submit KTM; Submit the returned Book; Pay fines according to the provisions (for those who late return).
Submit KTM; Hand over the Book to be extended.
These services include Student Final Assignment services, Undergraduate thesis, and lecturer research results, with on-site reading or photocopying facilities.
This service includes appointment services and online information search to users who need information, directly, online and off-line e-journal searches, which contain Abstract & Full text CD-ROM services. Information search services in print through reference books (dictionaries, encyclopedias, statistical data, and directories). Online search can be done using internet media.
BI Corner Collection Service which includes books and references (dictionaries, encyclopedias, statistical data, directories) with on-site reading facilities.
Leave your bag and jacket in the space provided by leaving your ID card; Show a valid member card; It is not permitted to lend KTM to or from other people.
