Undiknas Care Movement Visited Legian Beach Area
Undiknas through Undiknas Care Movement (UCM) Program in collaboration with one of the social community organizations from Australia, Indonesia Institute, did social actions aimed at helping Balinese tourism workers affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Similar activities had been implemented in several locations such as the Panjer, Sidakarya, Kuta and several other areas. This activity would continue to be conducted during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Undiknas Care Movement Team was targeting Legian area through Regional Committee of Legian Beach. As it was well known, the Legian beach area was one of the areas affected by Covid-19.
Undiknas distributed 200 basic food packages in 3 areas which were given by Rector of Undiknas represented by Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. I Made Wirya Darma, S.H., M.H., and accompanied by Head of Study Center and Head of Institute for Research and Community Service of Undiknas. The handover of aid was received directly by the Head of Legian Traditional Village, Anak Agung Made Oka Sumbaga and his staffs. The handover was done symbolically to several cleaners and coast guards. Then, the aid was distributed to the people who were members of Legian Traditional Village Beach Management organization.
