Undiknas Students Visit Jungle Gold Bali and Secret Garden Village in Local Company Visit Session 1
Bali – Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) once again organized a Company Visit as part of its industry insight development program for students. The first session of this program took place, featuring visits to two key business locations in Bali: Jungle Gold Bali chocolate factory and Secret Garden Village.
The Company Visit aimed to provide students with firsthand experience of business operations, industry challenges, and strategies used to stay competitive in the market. Students from various study programs participated in this initiative, which was designed to broaden their knowledge as future young entrepreneurs.
At Jungle Gold Bali chocolate factory, participants were introduced to the production process of high-quality chocolate, from cocoa bean selection and fermentation to the final product. Students also gained insights into the importance of maintaining product quality to compete in both local and international markets.
Meanwhile, the visit to Secret Garden Village offered a unique experience in understanding how educational tourism is integrated into a business model. Participants explored the company’s journey in combining traditional beauty products, a café, and an educational area into a top tourist destination.
During the visit, students had the opportunity to engage in direct discussions with company management. Topics covered included business challenges, the importance of innovation, and strategies for building a strong brand in a competitive market.
“This activity is incredibly beneficial as it provides real-world insights into how a company operates and overcomes challenges. I feel more motivated to develop my own business ideas,” said one of the Company Visit participants.
The Company Visit is structured into two sessions, allowing all participants to gain more focused and in-depth learning experiences. This first session concluded with evaluations and group discussions to reinforce students’ understanding of their experiences.
Through initiatives like this, Undiknas remains committed to providing practical learning experiences for its students. The Company Visit is one of the university’s concrete efforts to equip young generations with practical knowledge relevant to the workforce and business world.
The second session of the Company Visit is scheduled to take place at a later date, continuing Undiknas’ mission to produce competent graduates who are ready to compete globally.
