Exploration of Tri Dharma Higher Education Collaboration between Undiknas and the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office
Denpasar – On Friday, June 7, 2024, an important meeting was held at the office of the Bali Provincial High Prosecutor’s Office, marking the initial step in exploring the plan for Tri Dharma Higher Education collaboration between the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) and the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office. This meeting was officially received by the Head of the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office, Dr. Ketut Sumedana, SH., MH.
In this meeting, the Rector of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN Eng., attended along with the Vice Rector for Partnership and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Subanda, M.Si, and their team, as well as representatives of Undiknas students. The meeting aimed to discuss potential collaboration in the fields of education, research, and community service in accordance with the Tri Dharma Higher Education concept.
During the meeting, the Rector of Undiknas expressed high appreciation to the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office for their willingness to receive and explore this collaboration opportunity. He emphasized the importance of synergy between higher education institutions and legal institutions in creating programs that can enhance the quality of education and provide tangible contributions to society.
Dr. Ketut Sumedana, SH., MH., as the Head of the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office, also expressed his support for this initiative. He highlighted the importance of inter-institutional collaboration to improve human resource competencies in the fields of law and education and hoped that this collaboration would bring significant benefits to both parties.
The meeting also served as a constructive forum for discussion, where various ideas and concepts of collaboration were discussed in depth. Participants from both parties showed great enthusiasm in exploring various collaboration opportunities, ranging from organizing seminars and workshops to internship programs for Undiknas students at the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office.
This exploration of collaboration was then followed up with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional and the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office. This collaboration will not only strengthen the relationship between the two institutions but also make a meaningful contribution to the development of legal education in Indonesia.
With a strong spirit of partnership, the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional and the Bali High Prosecutor’s Office are ready to move forward together in realizing the Tri Dharma Higher Education, providing optimal benefits for students, society, and the nation.
