Denpasar – The Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) through the Catholic Student Family (KMK) held a Social Service and Live In which took place at the St. Martinus de Porres Penganggahan Station, Tabanan. Social Service Activities and Live In KMK Undiknas are a form of solidarity from KMK Undiknas to others which are manifested in a series of activities held at the St. Martinus de Porres Penganggahan Station. The series of Social Service activities that take place also invites the participants to stay for 1 day or Live In as one of the activity agendas, which can be a valuable experience for the participants. The series of Social Service activities begins with the arrival of the participants to the location of the activity which is scheduled to last for 2 days and one night. The first day’s agenda was filled with a meeting between the committee and the participants of the activity with the manager of the St Martinus de Porres Station followed by the delivery of souvenirs in the form of trash cans and flower pots. Followed by a discussion session with the community with the theme “Millennials of Faith” which discusses how millennials as a young generation can maintain values in faith and religion in the current era of globalization, there are also entertainment sessions filled with games and activities that add to the fun. in ongoing activities.
The top agenda took place on the second day which began with Social Service activities attended by all participants from KMK and also involved the heads of families from St. Martinus de Porres Station, totaling 7 families. All the participants involved also participated in the Eucharistic celebration with all the people on that day. Also attending were the representatives of the Student Affair and Alumni Unit (SALUT) of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional and the Student Representative Council (DPM) of the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional.
Through the holding of a series of Social Service & Live In KMK activities, it is hoped that it can provide new experiences and understanding to the participants on the importance of caring for others. As a young generation, all the experiences gained by participants during the activity are expected to provide positive benefits for themselves and the surrounding environment.
