Denpasar in Action! BNN and UNDIKNAS Unite to Uncover the Drug Map to Protect the Young Generation
DENPASAR –The city of Denpasar is now embarking on a transformative step to strengthen its defences against the threat of drug abuse. BNN Denpasar City has officially partnered with #UNDIKNASUnggul on a crucial in-depth research project for the community. This collaboration aims to conduct a scientific study titled “Analysis of Drug Abuse Prevalence in Denpasar City”. Through this cooperation, it is hoped that the distribution of data regarding illicit substance abuse can be mapped with great accuracy. This concrete action proves that synergy between government agencies and academics is highly necessary today.
New Strategy: Mayor Supports Evidence-Based Policy
As a demonstration of their seriousness, the Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Farmakes) lecturers team and BNN have held a direct audience with the Mayor of Denpasar. In the meeting, they presented the urgency of this study as the main foundation for determining the direction of city policy. The data generated will later serve as a compass for the government in designing more effective prevention programmes. The Mayor expressed high appreciation as this step prioritises a scientific approach over mere assumptions. The active involvement of regional leaders demonstrates that public health issues are a top priority in Bali.
More Than Just Research: A Data-Driven Rescue Mission
This study is not merely research on paper but a mission to save future generations. A team of experts from Psychology UNDIKNAS is also involved to examine this phenomenon from the perspective of societal behaviour. The results of this prevalence analysis will later be used to formulate more targeted intervention strategies. Every policy adopted will be based on field facts discovered during the research process. This ensures that government resources and manpower will have the maximum impact.
Synergy between Academics and the Government for a Healthy Denpasar
A strong synergy between the government and the educational sector is expected to create a much healthier ecosystem in Denpasar City. Students and educators play a vital role as agents of change in widely spreading anti-drug education. With a solid database, educational programmes can be designed to be more relevant to current trends. The success of this collaboration will set a new standard for other regions in drug prevention efforts. All parties are optimistic that this hard work will yield tangible results for the safety of all citizens.
Realise the Future: Great Denpasar Without Drugs
Let us fully support this noble initiative to realise Denpasar’s vision of being safe and free from drugs.
