HIMA Cleans Up in Synergy: Undiknas Students Take Concrete Action to Protect the Beach Environment
Kuta – Driven by a spirit of collaboration and environmental awareness, the Student Association of the Management Study Program (HIMAPRODI Manajemen) at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) organized the “HIMA Membersihkan Sinergi” (HIMA Cleans Up in Synergy) activity at Jerman Beach, Kuta. This event marked the final subprogram of the 3M series (Manajemen Menginspirasi dan Mengabdi / Management Inspires and Serves), themed “Wave of Change: Small Actions Creating Big Impact for the Environment.” (June 28, 2025)
Running from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM WITA, the event featured a hands-on beach clean-up activity, serving as a tangible contribution by students to environmental conservation, while also fostering collective awareness of the importance of loving and protecting nature from an early age.
The program not only involved Undiknas students but also partnered with the Management Student Association of Udayana University, creating a cross-campus synergy in the environmental movement. This collaboration reflected the spirit of the younger generation, who are not only academically focused but also actively engaged as agents of change in addressing global issues, particularly those concerning environmental sustainability.
Through “HIMA Membersihkan Sinergi,” the organizers aimed to show that major change can begin with small steps. Cleaning the beach is not just an activity, but a form of commitment to a healthier planet. This initiative serves as a reminder that maintaining environmental cleanliness is a shared responsibility. It is hoped that activities like this will continue and inspire other communities to take part in preserving the beautiful nature of Bali.
