JIMBARAN<\/strong> \u2013 Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics (FTI) Undiknas<\/strong> tactively participated in the 2026 National Working Meeting of the Indonesian Forum of Engineering Deans (Rakernas FDTI),<\/strong> held at the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Udayana University, Jimbaran Campus. This prestigious gathering served as a pivotal platform for engineering leaders across Indonesia to align their vision in addressing global challenges.<\/p>\r\n\n

The national meeting represents a significant milestone, transcending beyond a discussion forum. Participants reached a consensus on collective strategies to foster stronger collaboration, implement concrete programs, and deliver a more profound national impact through the role of Engineering Faculties as primary pillars of progress.<\/p>\r\n\n

Focus on Digital Innovation and Energy Resilience<\/h2>\n\n

In this national meeting, discussions were centered on strengthening the role of Engineering Faculties as an engine of innovation. The Dean of FTI Undiknas, alongside other deans, agreed that educational institutions must serve as the driving force in addressing critical issues. Strategic focus was directed toward digital transformation and AI\u2014a crucial point for FTI Undiknas given its oversight of the Informatics field to accelerate national digitalization. Furthermore, a commitment to climate change mitigation was established through the implementation of green technology in curriculum and research, as well as strengthening energy resilience by promoting applicable renewable energy innovations for society and industry.<\/p>\r\n\n

Realizing the “Impactful Campus” Program<\/h2>\n\n

Aligned with the Kemdiktisaintek <\/strong>initiative, specifically the “Impactful Campus”<\/strong>, program, higher education institutions are expected to produce graduates who are not only academically excellent but also provide tangible benefits to industry and the public. FTI Undiknas is fully committed to integrating this spirit into its learning ecosystem, ensuring a closer synergy between academic innovation and market demands.<\/p>\r\n\n

The 2026 FDTI National Meeting is expected to generate concrete work programs and solidify collaborations between Engineering Faculties throughout Indonesia.
