Denpasar, 2025 \u2013 The Faculty of Tourism at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) has launched the Industry-Class Program as a strategic innovation in vocational higher education. This program is designed to address the challenges of the labor market and produce professional, adaptive, and globally competitive tourism human resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative targets industry workers, particularly in the tourism and event sectors, enabling them to pursue higher education without having to leave their jobs. Emphasizing flexibility and the integration of theoretical and practical learning, the program incorporates participants\u2019 daily professional experiences as part of the formal education system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning Model: 70% Practice, 30% Theory<\/span><\/p>\n

The Industry-Class Program adopts a learning model composed of 70% practice\u2014gained directly through participants\u2019 work activities within partner companies\u2014and 30% theory delivered through in-person lectures at Undiknas.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program spans 8 semesters and includes a total of 144 credits (SKS), based on a curriculum tailored to current industry standards and needs. It covers theoretical knowledge, technical skills, and essential soft skills required in the professional world.<\/span><\/p>\n

For industry professionals, the program also offers a pathway for professional recognition, where daily work experience within partner companies can be converted into academic credits. These practical experiences are formally recognized as part of the semester credit system (SKS).<\/span><\/p>\n
