This sacred day is not only a religious celebration, but also a moment for deep reflection on universal values such as peace, compassion, and spiritual awakening.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"886\"><strong data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"437\">Vesak<\/strong>, also known as <strong data-start=\"453\" data-end=\"463\">Waisak<\/strong>, is observed to honor <strong data-start=\"486\" data-end=\"508\">three major events<\/strong> in the life of <strong data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"542\">Gautama Buddha<\/strong>, known as <strong data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"594\">the Vesak Trisuci (Three Holy Events)<\/strong>: the birth of Prince Siddhartha in Lumbini, his attainment of Enlightenment (Bodhi) in Bodhgaya, and his passing into Parinibbana in Kusinara. These milestones serve as the foundation of the Buddha\u2019s teachings and continue to inspire followers to live a life guided by wisdom and compassion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"888\" data-end=\"1247\">In today\u2019s modern era, Vesak Day also serves as a call for collective awareness of the importance of living harmoniously and respecting diversity. Values such as non-violence (ahimsa), cultivating a mind free from hatred, and performing good deeds are especially relevant in addressing the increasingly complex social and environmental challenges of our time.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1576\">This year\u2019s Vesak offers an invitation for individuals to <strong data-start=\"1307\" data-end=\"1344\">re-examine their life\u2019s direction<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1369\">nurture inner peace<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1375\" data-end=\"1431\">strengthen their commitment to peace and social care<\/strong>.
