The day featured insightful class sessions and a company visit, providing real-world examples of sustainability in business operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The day began with a class titled <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Environmental Sustainability and Business in ASEAN<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, led by Undiknas lecturer <\/span><b>I Gusti Ngurah Gede Agung Pradipta, S.IP., M.Si.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Participants were guided through the intricate relationship between environmental sustainability efforts and business strategies in the ASEAN region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Discussions covered various approaches that companies can adopt to integrate sustainability principles into their operations, regardless of scale. The session also highlighted challenges faced by ASEAN countries in balancing economic growth with environmental preservation, emphasizing the importance of innovation and cross-sector collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Following the class, participants visited the <\/span><b>Kutus-Kutus Organic Oil Company<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in Gianyar, renowned for its organic oil products made from locally sourced natural ingredients, including traditional Balinese herbs and plants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Accompanied by <\/span><b>Ni Made Prasiwi Bestari, S.IP., M.Par.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>Budi Shantika, S.Par., M.Tr.Par.,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> participants witnessed the production process of Kutus-Kutus oil firsthand. This included selecting raw materials, environmentally friendly processing techniques, and marketing strategies that emphasize sustainability and cultural values.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The visit provided participants with practical insights into how local businesses can adopt sustainable practices while promoting cultural heritage and regional products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The fifth day concluded with a visit to <\/span><b>Bali Museum Bajra Sandhi<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in Denpasar. The museum not only chronicles the history of Bali\u2019s struggles but also offers participants a deeper understanding of the close relationship between Balinese culture and its natural environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Day five strengthened participants\u2019 understanding of how environmental sustainability can form the core of successful business strategies. From academic discussions to hands-on field experiences, the activities offered a holistic perspective on the importance of protecting the environment while supporting local economic growth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With the insights gained today, participants are expected to apply these lessons to their group projects and in their future careers and daily lives.
