This session provided participants with insights into how traditional Balinese social systems and organizations, such as banjar and desa adat, play an integral role in Balinese community life and influence local business practices. Participants gained valuable knowledge about the cultural connections that shape Bali\u2019s business dynamics, enabling a deeper understanding of the local market and economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The next session focused on \u201cSoutheast Asian Business Practices and Strategy\u201d and was delivered by Made Ratih Nurmalasari, S.E., M.M. This class equipped participants with a comprehensive understanding of business strategies and common practices in Southeast Asia. They explored how companies in the ASEAN region implement strategies that emphasize regional collaboration and innovation tailored to the unique characteristics of Southeast Asian markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Following the classes, the program continued with a field visit to Krisna Oleh-Oleh Badung, accompanied by Budi Shantika, S.Par., M.Tr.Par. At this location, participants experienced firsthand the operations of a successful business in Bali\u2019s souvenir and tourism sector. Krisna Oleh-Oleh, known as one of Bali\u2019s largest souvenir centers, provided insights into marketing strategies, the management of local products, and how the business caters to the preferences of tourists from diverse backgrounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After the visit, participants took part in a Group Project session facilitated by Ibu Caren Angellina Mimaki, S.Ak., M.M. This session allowed participants to discuss their observations and the knowledge gained from the classes and field visit. Each group collaborated to formulate business strategies that would be presented at the end of the program, focusing on cultural aspects, environmental considerations, and sustainable business practices in the ASEAN region. Participants were expected to develop innovative solutions relevant to SMEs aiming to expand their markets within ASEAN while appreciating the importance of cultural adaptation in cross-border business strategies.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Day three of Bali Beyond Borders enriched participants\u2019 understanding of the social dynamics and business practices in Bali and Southeast Asia.
