The Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), through the tagline &#8220;Techno Research-preneur University,&#8221; tries to contribute to producing competent future entrepreneurs in Bali.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It was founded on February 17, 1969. The forerunner of Undiknas was initially an academy in the banking sector called the Bank Academy, abbreviated as AKABA. In 1976, this academy changed its name to the Academy of Finance and Banking, with the abbreviation remaining AKABA. To expand the scope of educational programs organized by AKABA, institutional development was carried out again in 1980 with the change of AKABA to become the Denpasar College of Financial Sciences (STIK). Furthermore, to answer the challenges of the world of education at the tertiary level which became increasingly dynamic in the 1980s, as well as to accommodate the vision and mission of STIK Denpasar which continued to develop, in 1984 STIK Denpasar upgraded its institutional status to become a university, namely the Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), a higher education institution operating today. (12\/22\/2023)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Undiknas differentiates itself by emphasizing the importance of research and technology in every aspect of learning. Students are encouraged to not only understand basic concepts but also apply them in the context of current technology. This initiative aims to prepare students with the relevant knowledge and skills necessary to understand and overcome modern business challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Education at Undiknas is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the practical steps in establishing and managing a business. This includes digital marketing strategies, financial management, and legal aspects related to the business world. In this way, students not only have academic knowledge but also practical understanding to compete in an increasingly complex market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Undiknas runs a strong collaboration program with local industry and startups in Bali. This provides valuable opportunities for students to engage in practical projects, internships, or even collaborate directly with experienced entrepreneurs. This practice opens up opportunities for students to learn from real experience and build extensive networks in the business world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One of the significant steps taken by Undiknas is establishing a business incubator. This incubator functions as a space for students and graduates to develop their business ideas. With mentorship from experienced business practitioners, they can hone their business concepts and gain valuable insight into business realities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through various entrepreneurial activities and competitions, Undiknas is active in building an entrepreneurial spirit among its students. Business competitions, hackathons, and similar events allow students to test their creativity and business skills in a competitive but supportive atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">An integral component of the curriculum at Undiknas is technology. Students not only learn to use technology to support their business but are also exposed to the latest technological trends such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and other related technologies. This gives them a competitive edge in facing the challenges of an ever-changing business world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Through continuous commitment to developing quality young entrepreneurs, Undiknas has emerged as a center for innovation and creativity in Bali.
