Denpasar, August 18, 2024 \u2013 The National University of Education (UNDIKNAS), through the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) and the Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI), is once again holding the ninth cohort of the Special Education for Advocate Profession (PKPA). This program was officially opened on Sunday, August 18, 2024, in the Social Laboratory room, Smart Solution Hall, UNDIKNAS Campus, Denpasar, and will run until September 8, 2024. This PKPA training is conducted in a hybrid format, combining both offline and online learning, and is attended by 29 participants preparing to become professional advocates.<\/span><\/p>\n\n The opening event was attended by several key figures, including the Head of the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) UNDIKNAS, Mrs. Anak Agung Mia Intentilia, S.IP., MA, who also serves as the Chairperson of the PKPA Organizing Committee, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law UNDIKNAS, Mrs. Dr. Putu Eva Ditayani Antari, S.H., M.H., CCD, who represented the Rector of UNDIKNAS. Also in attendance were the Deputy Secretary General of the National Leadership Council (DPN) PERADI, who is also the Chairman of the Denpasar Branch Leadership Council (DPC) PERADI, Mr. I Nyoman Budi Adnyana S.H., M.H., CLA., CPL, along with his team.<\/span><\/p>\n\n In her remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Law UNDIKNAS expressed appreciation for the collaboration that has been ongoing since 2017 between UNDIKNAS and PERADI. She emphasized the importance of continuing this program to enhance the quality of advocate candidates, both in Bali and throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Chairman of DPC PERADI Denpasar stressed the essential nature of PKPA training in preparing advocate candidates for the professional exam, while also providing a deep understanding of both legal theory and practice in Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n\n The implementation of PKPA is not just about fulfilling formal requirements to become an advocate, but also aims to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and ethics necessary for this profession. The Special Education for Advocate Profession (PKPA) is crucial to ensure that advocate candidates not only understand law theoretically but also possess the practical skills required in various legal situations in the field. PKPA also prepares participants for the Advocate Profession Examination (UPA), a critical step in obtaining a license to practice as an advocate in Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n\n UNDIKNAS, committed to achieving the <\/span>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/b>, particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, is determined to continue providing the best PKPA education.
