Denpasar, December 19, 2024<\/b> \u2013 In commemoration of National Defense Day, Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas) held a joint ceremony attended by its entire academic community. The solemn event took place on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Undiknas Sport and Art Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Led by the Rector of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nyoman Sri Subawa, S.T., S.Sos., M.M., IPM., ASEAN Eng, the ceremony aimed to instill a sense of nationalism and patriotism among Undiknas students, faculty, and staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his speech, the Rector emphasized the importance of National Defense Day as a moment to reflect on the role of every individual in maintaining the unity and progress of the nation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs the next generation, we bear a great responsibility to uphold unity and build a more advanced Indonesia. Through the spirit of national defense, let us make real contributions in education, innovation, and collaboration for a brighter future,\u201d said Prof. Nyoman Sri Subawa.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ceremony proceeded orderly, starting with the raising of the red and white flag accompanied by the Indonesian national anthem, <\/span>Indonesia Raya<\/span><\/i>. All participants enthusiastically joined in the series of events, including the recitation of the <\/span>Pancasila<\/span><\/i> and the National Defense mandate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond paying tribute to the heroes who sacrificed for independence, the event also served as a moment to strengthen patriotism amidst global dynamics.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rector of Undiknas further emphasized that the spirit of national defense is not only demonstrated through physical battles but also through positive contributions in various fields.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNational defense in the modern era can be achieved by improving oneself, innovating across sectors, and upholding the values of unity,\u201d he asserted.<\/span><\/p>\n
