In a collaborative effort between students and faculty, a tourism education model utilizing Augmented Reality (AR) technology has been successfully developed. The project, titled <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;Digital Conservation of Lembuh Putih: Development of an AR-Based Edu-Tourism Model,&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> highlights the university&#8217;s dedication to combining education and technological advancement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This model leverages AR technology to introduce an immersive <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">virtual tourism<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> concept. It allows users to explore the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Lembuh Putih virtually. This approach not only provides a rich and engaging tourism experience but also supports environmental conservation and cultural preservation. Visitors can learn about the region&#8217;s natural wonders and traditions from the comfort of their homes, making it an eco-friendly solution for modern tourism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The primary objective of this development is to enhance public awareness of tourism potential while introducing educational methods that use advanced digital technology. Additionally, the model aims to inspire young generations to engage in creating sustainable and eco-conscious tourism industries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8220;Konservasi Digital Lembuh Putih&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> officially registered as intellectual property, Undiknas&#8217; Faculty of Tourism has proven that academic innovation can make a tangible impact.
